It was constructed by the Živković brothers, merchants from Niš, probably in 1938 or 1939. The name of the architect is unknown.
This villa, with its characteristics, represents a significant architectonic work of art in terms of functional design and the formation of volumes, and is one of the most remarkable and most beautiful examples of the pure Moderne style in Niška Banja (or spa). Its volumes are simultaneously independent and merging, accentuating the verticality and horizontality of the structure. Particularly characteristic is the strong semi-circular volume of the first floor, with horizontal rows of windows, which simply springs from the general volume of the building and visually floats over the entrance section of the ground floor, resting on the slender columns.
The original function of the villa did not change, and it is still a residential building.
