This architectonically significant structure is situated in the strict city center. It has all the characteristics of a family villa, and was built in 1927 for the Niš merchant Veljko A. Stefanović.
It is a free-standing one-story building, retracted to the depth of the lot, which allowed the organization of a park area in front of the building, with once picturesque plants and elements which are in poor condition. The building is characterized by a façade wall with a polygonal terrace with balustrades, floral and geometric ornaments, and a gaudy trapezoid canopy, which defines the architecture of this building as eclectic.
Nowadays, the building houses the administration and a part of the working premises of the National Museum of Niš.
